Finance North to support Sands in 2018 ( 1st December 2017)
The death of a baby can affect anyone from any background and sadly every 90 minutes a family experiences this devastating tragedy. That means everyday 15 babies are stillborn or die shortly after birth in the UK. Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity exists to reduce the unacceptably high rate of stillbirth and neonatal deaths and to provide and improve the care bereaved parents and their families receive.
We are extremely grateful to Finance North for supporting Sands. Their support will allow us to be there for anyone affected by the death of a baby and help fund vital research to reduce the number of babies dying – Susy Gould-Obiora, Senior Corporate and Trusts Fundraiser
